Privacy Policy
Effective date: 23 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Beat The Invincible (“we”, “us”, or “the Service”), available at https://www.beattheinvincible.com, handles information when you use our football drafting game, challenge lobbies, leaderboards, and related features.
1. Who we are
Beat The Invincible is an entertainment web game. You can play without creating a traditional account or password. For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@beattheinvincible.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you play, we may process:
- Gameplay data — draft picks, formations, match results, difficulty, and related simulation details needed to run and display the game.
- Challenge nicknames — optional display names you enter for friend lobbies and standings (stored with your attempt and may be kept in your browser’s local storage for convenience).
- Leaderboard entries — scores and display names you submit to public or shared boards.
- Technical identifiers — a signed browser cookie used to recognize anonymous challenge participation and apply abuse protections; approximate IP address for rate limiting; standard server/request logs.
- Device and usage analytics — aggregated traffic and performance data via hosting/analytics providers (see below).
We do not ask for your real name, email, or payment details to play the core game. Do not include sensitive personal information in nicknames or shared text.
3. How we use information
- Operate, secure, and improve the Service
- Run solo matches, challenge rooms, and leaderboards
- Prevent spam, fraud, and excessive automated use
- Generate in-game match commentary / verdicts where enabled
- Understand aggregate usage and fix errors
- Show advertising when ads are enabled on the Service
- Comply with law and enforce Service rules
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use:
- Essential cookies — for example, an anonymous challenge identity cookie so you can rejoin or continue a lobby session and so we can apply fair rate limits.
- Local storage — for example, remembering a challenge nickname on your device.
- Analytics cookies / scripts — from our hosting and analytics providers to understand traffic.
- Advertising cookies / scripts — when Google AdSense (or similar) is enabled, ad partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including interest-based ads where permitted by law and your settings.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break challenge lobbies or other features.
5. Advertising
The Service may display ads through Google AdSense or other partners. Third-party advertisers may collect or receive information about your browser, device, and how you interact with ads. Google’s policies and controls are described at Google Advertising and Google Privacy Policy. You may also visit aboutads.info/choices (or regional equivalents) for interest-based ad opt-outs where available.
6. Service providers
We use trusted processors to host and operate the Service, which may include:
- Cloud hosting and edge delivery (e.g. Vercel)
- Database and backend infrastructure (e.g. Supabase)
- Product analytics (e.g. Vercel Analytics)
- Advertising networks (e.g. Google AdSense), when enabled
- AI providers used to generate short post-match commentary, when that feature is enabled
These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies, as applicable.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- With service providers as needed to run the Service
- Publicly, when you choose a nickname / score for leaderboards or challenge standings visible to others in a lobby
- If required by law, regulation, or legal process
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, with appropriate safeguards
8. Retention
We keep gameplay, lobby, and leaderboard data for as long as needed to provide the Service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Challenge rooms may expire after a set period. Aggregated or anonymized analytics may be retained longer.
9. International transfers
The Service is offered online and may be hosted or processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact privacy@beattheinvincible.com and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because much of the game is anonymous, we may need enough detail from you to locate relevant records (for example, a lobby link and nickname). Contact privacy@beattheinvincible.com.
You can clear site data in your browser to remove local nicknames and cookies stored on your device.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
13. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
